Bio

Julia, a native of Ithaca, New York, has deep roots in Tompkins County, having lived, worked, and raised a family there for many years. After earning a Paralegal Certification and a degree in Criminology magna cum laude from the University of Maryland, Julia returned to her hometown to dedicate over a decade to serving as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and low-income families in the nonprofit sector.

Achieving her own goal of homeownership through the INHS First Time Homebuyer's program, Julia purchased a home in Ithaca. Shortly after, she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, a firefighter in the city, and they now have a beautiful blended family together.
